Delhi Widow Pension Scheme: Delhi government has launched a scheme for
widows, divorced, separated, abandoned and poor women in the age group of 18
years to 59 years. Those who do not have enough means to live life well an
they are poor, needy and weak then they will be helped with money under this
scheme.
According to the scheme, eligible women will get a monthly grant of Rs 2500
per month from the government. Widow, divorced, separated, abandoned and poor
women above the age of 18 years to 59 years can apply for this scheme. However,
the applicant must be a resident of Delhi.
Keep these things in mind
The annual income of the applicant should be less than Rs.1,00,000/- per
annum from all sources (including rent, interest/dividend on savings and
investments, farm income, property sale proceeds etc.
Applicant must have Aadhaar number compulsorily.
The applicant must have a single-operated Aadhaar linked account with any
bank in the National Capital Territory of Delhi only.
The applicant should not be in receipt of any pension/financial assistance from
Central Government/State Government/MCD or NDMC and other Government/Local
bodies or any other source for this purpose.
How to apply for Delhi Widow Pension Scheme
- The application will be made online on the e-District Portal (Delhi). Visit this link https://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in/.
- Log on to https://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in/.
- Click on New User under Citizen Corner.
- Select Document – Click on Aadhaar or Voter ID.
- Enter your Aadhaar Card Number/Voter ID Card Number.
- Type the captcha in the box shown.
