While addressing the program of interaction with the beneficiaries of ‘Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala’ scheme organized at Lok Bhavan on Wednesday, he announced the increase in the funds of this scheme. CM Yogi said that the double engine government is going to increase the amount of Kanya Sumangala Scheme from Rs 15 thousand to Rs 25 thousand from the financial year 2024-2025. This will make it easier for the daughters of the state to fulfill their dreams. Besides being educated, she will also be able to become self-reliant.

5 thousand will be given as soon as the daughter is born

In the program, CM Yogi (Yogi Adityanath) said that earlier under this scheme (Kanya Sumangala Yojana), a package of Rs 15 thousand was given in six phases. From next year, as soon as the daughter is born, an amount of Rs 5,000 will be transferred to her guardian’s account. Similarly, when the daughter turns one year old, Rs 2,000, Rs 3,000 when the daughter goes to first class, Rs 3,000 when she takes admission in class 6, Rs 5,000 when she goes to class 9 and if the daughter is pursuing graduation or any diploma or certificate course, If he does, we will transfer an amount of seven thousand rupees to his account. CM Yogi said that today 16,240,00 thousand daughters are being benefited through the Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana in the state.

Destitute women will get ration cards

Chief Minister Yogi said that the double engine government believes that a daughter is only a daughter. There should be no discrimination with him at any level. He should also get adequate opportunities for security, protection and progress. CM Yogi said that all the destitute sisters of the state will be covered by all the schemes of the government including ration card, Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Some girls, beneficiaries of the Kanya Sumangala Yojana involved in the program, put tilak on CM Yogi’s forehead and tied rakhis on his hand.

Transfer of Rs 5.82 crore under Kanya Sumangala Yojana

CM Yogi (Yogi Adityanath) promised to protect him by presenting him a gift. In the program, CM Yogi transferred an amount of Rs 5.82 crore in the accounts of 29523 beneficiary girls through one click. Along with this, CM Yogi also distributed the check of the scheme to 10 beneficiary girls and their guardians as a symbol. Beneficiary Ratna Mishra told that she is able to study through this scheme.
