CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 Registrations to Conclude Today

The registration window for the Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 will be closed today, October 31, by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). On the official website, cbse.gov.in, students can submit their applications for fresh scholarships, while previous year recipients can renew their candidature. The scholarship application deadline was originally set for October 18, however it was extended for the convenience of the candidates.

The CBSE grants the scholarship to single girl child students with an overall score of 60 per cent or higher in their Class 10 exam. The student applying should be enrolled in CBSE-affiliated institutions for Classes 11 and 12, where the monthly tuition is no more than Rs 1,500. Over the course of the next two years, the total rise in tuition fees should not be over 10 per cent. The scholarship will be awarded at a cost of Rs 500 per month for a period of no more than two years.

By November 7, the schools of the applicants are required to verify the information in the scholarship applications. The applications will be denied if the school is unable to verify them. The processing of the application is done at the student’s respective school.

CBSE SINGLE GIRL CHILD SCHOLARSHIP 2023: HOW TO APPLY

Students who meet the eligibility requirements can apply for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship by following the procedures mentioned below:

Step 1: Go to cbse.gov.in, the official website of the CBSE board.

Step 2: Select the ‘Single Girl Child Scholarship X-2023 REG’ link from the webpage.

Step 3: Click the relevant link to apply for a scholarship.

Step 4: A new tab will appear on the screen. Select the SGC-X new or renewal application type.

Step 5: After completing the form, upload the documents that it specifies.

Step 6: Fill out the Single Girl Child Scholarship application and submit the form as directed.

Step 7: Print a copy of the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship application form for your records.
