Employees Advance Salary: Good news for these central employees! Will get advance salary and pension, bonus will also be released

Employees Advance Salary: The Finance Ministry said in a memorandum that central government employees in Kerala can withdraw their August salary on August 25.

Employees Advance Salary: Due to Onam and Ganesh Chaturthi festivals, the Center has decided to release salary and pension ahead of time for central government employees in Kerala and Maharashtra. The Finance Ministry said in an office memorandum that central government employees in Kerala can withdraw their August salary on August 25. In Maharashtra, the September salary of central government employees can be drawn till September 27.

The Government has advised the Banks/PAOs to disburse the pension of all Central Government pensioners in the States on the same day. According to the Economic Times, in an office memorandum dated August 14, 2023, the Finance Ministry said, “In view of the ‘Onam’ and ‘Ganapati’ festivals, the government has decided that the central government will pay/salary of all central government employees in the state of Kerala and the state of Maharashtra.” Will release wages/pension in advance. As on the following dates – (i) Kerala: 25-08-2023 (Friday); (ii) Maharashtra: 27-09-2023 (Wednesday).’

The Finance Ministry said that the salaries of Central Government industrial employees serving in the states of Kerala and Maharashtra will also be disbursed in advance as per the dates given above. The Finance Ministry also stated that the concerned Ministries/Departments are requested to bring these instructions to the notice of their offices in Kerala and Maharashtra for necessary action.

These employees will get bonus

The Kerala government has also announced a bonus of Rs 4,000 for state government employees in view of the Onam festival, reports PTI. As per reports, employees who are not eligible for the bonus will get a special festival allowance of Rs 2,750.

In addition, service pensioners and employees who have retired under the Contributory Pension Scheme will get a special festival allowance of Rs 1,000.

According to the government, all employee categories, including contract-scheme workers who received bonus last year, will get the same rate bonus this year. According to PTI, Kerala Finance Minister KN Balagopal said that the initiative will benefit over 13 lakh government sector employees and laborers on the occasion of Onam.
