7th Pay Commission DA Hike: June figures of AICPI index released. More than one crore central employees and pensioners of the country will be benefited.

7th Pay Commission DA Hike: There is very good news for central employees. The Labor Ministry has released the June 2023 AICPI index figures. A big jump has been registered in the AICPI index for the month of June. Where it was at 134.7 points in May, it has jumped to 136.4 points in June. In this way, an increase of 1.7 points has been registered in the figure of AICPI index in the month of June.

The figures encouraged
As per May figures, the total DA Hike score was 45.58 per cent, which has increased to 46.24 per cent in June. After this, it is now almost decided that the dearness allowance of central employees will be increased by 4 percent.

Enhanced rates applicable from 1 July 2023
At present, the central employees and pensioners are waiting for its official announcement from the government. If everything goes well, the central government may announce an increase in dearness allowance and dearness relief in September next month. However, the new increased rates will be considered applicable from July 1, 2023 only.

Dearness allowance will be 46 percent
At present, central employees are getting dearness allowance (7th Pay Commission DA Hike) at the rate of 42 per cent. If there is a 4 percent increase in dearness allowance, it will increase to 46 percent.

Increase in salary up to Rs 27,000
There is a possibility of an annual increase in the salary of central employees from Rs 8,640 to Rs 27,312. Talking about the monthly increase, it can range from Rs 720 to Rs 2276.

This will directly benefit more than 1 crore central employees and pensioners of the Centre.
